For
24 years, peace advocates have gathered in front of Memorial Auditorium
in December to call for an end to whatever war was going on at the
time. 24 years ago, it was the U.S. sponsored war in Central America--in
2006 it was the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. These two boys (the two
Ians) join an honorable peace tradition. |

Participating
in the candlelight vigil is our family's tradition. Our mom, Carol
Dillinger, was a volunteer at Peace Action (then SaneFreeze) in the
1980s, and a dedicated Candlelight Vigil participant. |
