| Well, that was the Central Labor Council Labor Day Picnic, 2002. Talking to persons from other unions, hearing labor-friendly political candidates, eating picnic food, asking people to sign postcards in support of other union people and having them all say "yes" without a second thought because they already know what this is about...This seems like the right way to celebrate Labor Day and what I will now call "The Allied Trades," meaning everybody that has to work. |
